I am an adult gamer who is not good in math, I thought I'd try this game to polish up my math skills. The graphics are ok, the design reminds me of UNO playing cards. There are 4 different games to play. It also has a variety of difficulty levels and skills. 1 of the games was to put 5 or 6 cards in equations like you see on the cover of Math Play. That was cute. But after awhile I got bored. Not only that, the game froze up on me. I reset the DS and tried again. After a few minutes of play, it freezes up. This happened about 4 or 5 times before I was sure the game was defective and gave up. The other 3 games were so-so. One was to match up cards to it's color or numbers, which was like UNO to me. Since my game is defective because it freezes after a few minutes of play, I am returning it to the store. It was brand new & sealed so I don't know if mine just happened to be defective or they ALL are defective. Either way, I don't want a replacement. It's not worth keeping.Read full review
We love this game! I home school and this game is a welcome addition to our library. Four games with wireless, single card play make this game fun for the whole family. Our 8 yo and 11 yo boys do well but it might not be for younger children.
I had been searching for this game for my granddaughter. I couldn't find it at any of the local stores. It's a wonderful game for a child that loves to do math. Very easy to understand. I would recommend it highly.
My daughter, has hardly put down this game. And anything that can keep her focused, having fun and yet learning is a bonus for me. They should make more educational games for all game systems.
Even for an adult to keep up with your child who wants to improve basic math skills this is a good game. It took me longer than my 10 yr old to figure it out but that's norm for this tech age.
